NEW TOPIC!

DE-ESCALATION STRATEGIES

As a guardian-ad litem, you will be faced with children and parents who have experienced many forms of serious trauma.  They may exhibit behaviors when faced with conflict that seem to rapidly escalate in intensity.  When children or their parents are “triggered”, they may need help calming down to allow for effective resolution.  This valuable program will help you understand how to work with those who are easily triggered and help them to engage in more effective conflict resolution.
